So my friend and I had a pick-up line war the other day and here are a few I remember, keep in mind some of them are pretty raunchy :)

Today was the first day back to school after spring break. blah.

I would be going to bloc party tomorrow. But Kele Okereke (lead singer) has contracted viral pharyngitis. And the show was canceled…fuck. I hope he gets better and reschedules quickly.

So I officially suck. Sorry guys. For the past week I have been on spring break, in Colorado. The week before that I was rushing to finish all my late work, study for tests, etc. But I got home today so now I can make up for lost time. Not necessarily right*** now because its 4:05..and I dont know why i’m not asleep yet..

But Colorado was amazing. I want to live there at some point during my life. Maybe go there and be a ski bum for a season or something :)

It was so nice to finally leave flat-ass missouri and see some much missed mountains and board on some real snow. And we got some serious snow while we were there. We were really lucky because the week before we got up there they didnt get any snow, the temperature was high and they were losing snow from their base.. but the day we got there it started snowing…and didnt stop till the day we left. So we got fresh powder every single day. ..which need I say was AMAZING. (though my legs were very. sore after).

But i should go try and sleep.. i will post more stuff tm. (including pictures of the amazing colorado snowboard trip :))

Go listen to some dan deacon or royskopp!

Sorry about the slacking. I have been verryyyy busy and there has been a lot going on so yeah.. there was that party I had where of course there was drama (have I mentioned that i. hate. drama.?..well i do.) and then the week following that was hectic. Then my great aunt died and we had to drive up for the visitation and the funeral. I really do not like funerals.. I mean I don’t really know anyone that does..but still! haha.. they are so depressing, and looking in the casket makes me so sad. I didn’t even know my great aunt that well but i still cried when i looked in her casket. I think the worst part of funerals for me is the people there and how they react..watching the family of the deceased and how distraught they are and putting myself in that situation is what can really get to me at funerals..

Anyways, I got super side-tracked. I am close to being done with the spring rtw fashion stuff, it’s just getting the pictures that is taking awhile. Talking about pictures, on the trip up to the funeral I got bored and was messing around with the camera and then used photoscape to play around with the photos and what not. Here are some of them:

Tomorrow i have my consititution test i have to pass to graduate, I have a paper to write for english that i haven’t started and I have french homework. AND today was suchhh a beautiful day. I think it was 60 degrees at like seven p.m. which is amazing for this time of year.

So i’m really stressed at the moment.. but then I watched this movie and it cheered me up :)

This girl is SO adorable.

hope you guys enjoyed that :)

I’m going to go because i really need to study and write this shit paper.

Oh and I forgot, the family is going out of town this weekend so partyyyy! :):) I will take pictures and let you know how it goes.

Spring Love

I am so excited for spring. So excited I went to polyvore.com and made an outfit for spring. I actually don’t like it too much. I mean the clothes I love but I didn’t put them together very well…oh well, i hope you kind of like it? haha..

If you can notice I incorporated a lot of trends that showed up on a lot of runways and throughout the fashion world. First of all the military style jacket, love that trend. Also the sheer top and the short shorts. Adding a pop of yellow made the outfit much more youthful and gave it a more spring feel too. And the wedges I absolutely adore. Oh and go listen to the Foal’s “Olympic Avenue” :).

I got so excited this morning.. i opened up the internet (my home page is nylonmag.com) and it showed the new issue. So i rushed downstairs to see if it had come in the mail.. and it didn’t :( i was so excited a) because its nylon, how can that not get someone excited and b) Kristen Stewart is the covergirl. I love her. Not just because of Twilight (I am not a huge twilight fan, I have never read the books but the movie was pretty good i guess), she is just such a cool, real and stunning girl in my opinion.

So now all I can do is wait and check the mail. I can’t wait!

So I’m laying here… going through random blogs and listening to sam the boy. Maybe i will fall asleep soon? That would be nice… but you should do the latter of what I am doing (or both.. :)) and if you are sad and like listening to sad songs when you are sad, or just trying to get to sleep or chill out, listen to sam the boy.
